What a good stay! The hospitality from Marcia and John. The warm and cozy living room, overlooking lush gardens, was perfect. The Double Room had a comfy bed and elegant decor. Breakfast was a highlight. The homemade bread and fresh fruit salad were delicious! I appreciated the eco-friendly approach, with no disposable plastics. I missed having a TV in the bedroom for some evening entertainment. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning.

Really enjoyed every detail about my perfect 1 night stay here. The room I stayed in was impeccably clean with tea making facilities. The location was peaceful, 10 minutes' walk to the centre.
Can’t fault the property in any way!

The Double Room featured a super comfy bed with elegant decor. The spacious bathroom had a walk-in shower that was perfect.
I left some sunglasses behind, and retrieving them turned into a hassle with multiple phone calls. Although there was a cozy lounge area to unwind, the absence of a TV in the bedroom was a letdown for some evening entertainment. These minor issues impacted my stay.

Had a fantastic two-night stay at Oaks! Super comfy bed, spacious bathroom, and delicious breakfasts featuring fresh fruit and homemade bread. The cozy lounge with garden views added a nice touch. Just a heads up, no TV in the room, but it didn't ruin my stay!

The breakfast spread was good and fresh.
While I appreciated the hospitality, the process of retrieving some sunglasses I left behind was frustrating. After multiple phone calls and difficulties in arranging the return, it reminded me of I was more of a hassle than a guest. The absence of a TV in the bedroom was quite disappointing, especially for someone who enjoys unwinding with some entertainment.

Reasons to love it, and reasons not to
The delicious breakfasts included freshly squeezed juices, nice homemade bread, and a comfortable living area that overlooked the beautiful garden area, creating an ideal space.
While the hospitality was amazing, a lack of television in the bedroom might deter those who prefer in-room entertainment.

The Oaks is lovely. The landlady was super friendly and helped us feel at home right away. The lounge was cozy, big tv, and we had a great view of the garden while eating breakfast. Breakfast was amazin, fresh juices and homemade bread were the highlights. The shower was lovely and the bed really comfy, I slept like a baby.
only thing was there wasn't a tv in the bedroom, but i guess that's just me being picky.
